A rainy night in On Nut led us to Abiy’s Kitchen (AK), and we were so glad to find it. Who knew Izakaya plates and bites, house music, an open kitchen layout, and a dimly lit intimate, romantic setting would combine so well? While AK has an upstairs dining area, I think a counter seat looking into the kitchen and charcoal grills is the best spot. It transports you to a Tokyo state of mind. It also gives you a front row seat and view of the care and attention to detail from the chefs and kitchen staff. We loved the grilled chicken gizzards and other parts, as well as the oysters, and salads. AK also offers a decent selection of drinks, ranging from highballs to lagers, cocktails, and single malts. The classic American songbook tracks played earlier, and house music later give AK an atmosphere edge, making it a great spot for a low-key date night or gathering with friends. On Nut, you’ve done it again.

The level of the yakitori is high. Especially, the skin is crispy and flavorful, with a perfect hint of saltiness. The chicken paitan miso ramen had a sweet-tasting soup that was a bit unfamiliar at first, but it was of high quality and delicious to eat. Update on April 10th, 2025 Every dish I’ve tried here has been truly delicious. Today, I was especially impressed by the Iekei ramen—the soup was super delicious. Even though this place is primarily a yakitori restaurant, their ramen is beyond that of a dedicated ramen shop.

I had a perm and treatment done for my long hair, and I couldn’t be happier! The stylist was incredibly attentive and explained everything clearly. My hair feels soft, bouncy, and exactly the look I wanted. Highly recommend this salon in Phrom Phong for anyone looking for quality service in Bangkok.

Got a men’s haircut here last week and the result was perfect. I showed a photo of the style I wanted, and they nailed it! The staff was friendly, quick, and professional. Great spot for a clean, stylish cut in the Sukhumvit area.

This was my first time coloring my hair in Bangkok and I’m so glad I chose this salon. The color turned out beautiful and natural, just as I requested. I also tried the head spa—absolutely relaxing! The staff were so welcoming and skilled. Definitely coming back.
